What are the symptoms of a heart attack?
A heart attack is when part of your heart doesn’t get enough blood. This usually happens because an artery that materials blood flow from the coronary to the heart is blocked.
• Chest area soreness or pressure.
• Pounding or race center.
• Sensing lightheaded or faint.
• Perspiration, such as cool sweats.
• Pain or discomfort in the upper body, for example, the mouth, arms and neck, shoulders, or back.
• Breathlessness.
• Nausea or vomiting or throwing up.
• Sensation of upcoming doom.
A heart attack can be life-threatening, so don’t wait to see if the symptoms go away. If you have signs of a heart attack, seek immediate medical care.
