Rawalpindi: Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry have not charged in contempt of Election Commission case. Case was heard at Adiala Jail were Election Commission team reached for hearing against Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry.
Barrister Gohar further said that Election Commission is not authorized to reach to jail as their job is only to conduct elections. He said that open trial for the case is not happening despite that Islamabad High Court has given the decision for open trial.
Fawad Chaudhry’s wife Haba Fawad Chaudhry confirmed that both Fawad Chaudhry and Imran Khan could not be charged in for the contempt of election commission. Proceedings of the case have been postponed until December 19.
