Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued ordered to conduct General Election 2024 on 8th February. Justice Qazi Faiz Isa made the decision on the application of election commission against the Lahore High Court decision.
Supreme Court has announced the General Election date by declaring Lahore High Court’s decision null and void. Justice Faiz Isa mentioned that Lahore Hight Court Judge Baaqir Najafi conducted the misconduct.
As per Supreme Court resources information Lahore Hight Court suspended 1011,DROs, ROs and issued the orders beyond their authorities.
